Biography

Dr. Abigail Adjei is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. She is a physician and epidemiologist whose research examines nicotine dependence patterns, and the health-related effects associated with the use of novel and emerging nicotine-containing products (e.g., e-cigarettes) among adolescents and young adults. She is interested in evaluating the abuse liability potential of novel and emerging nicotine-containing products and how these products compare to cigarette use among adolescents and young adults. Her goal is to impact the regulation of tobacco products among vulnerable populations including adolescents and young adults.
