Biography
Claire graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 2018 with a B.A. in psychology. She also graduated with an M.A. in Psychology from the New School for Social Research as of May 2023. Since 2018, she has worked in the Substance Dependence Research Group at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, where she has managed a number of research projects focusing on the measurement of substance use disorders and behaviors in general population and clinical samples. At USC, she is excited to pursue research revolving around the perceived risks of new cannabis and tobacco products in adolescents and young adults, how risk perception may influence use behaviors, and how this information may inform effective public health messaging to reduce behaviors that are associated with adverse outcomes. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, photography, and knitting handmade clothing!
