Biography

Dr. Dayoung Bae is an Assistant Professor of Clinical of Population and Public Health Sciences at the University of Southern California. She is also a faculty member in the USC Institute for Addiction Science. Dr. Bae’s research focuses on the associations between family-related stressors (e.g., adverse childhood experiences, couple conflict) and health risk behaviors among adolescents and young adults. She has a particular interest in identifying longitudinal patterns of tobacco and marijuana product use among them. She has extensive experience in analyzing longitudinal national cohort data adopting advanced statistical methods, including latent mixture modeling, multilevel modeling, and dyadic data analysis.
