Biography

Gisselle currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Biological Psychology concentration along with a minor in Counseling and Social Justice from California State University San Bernardino as of fall of 2023. As of early 2023, she was granted a year-long position under STOPS (Smoke and Tobacco Outreach and Prevention Scholars), a program that is designed to provide support and mentorship to conduct tobacco-related research. Upon admission, she was able to receive mentorship under Dr. Adam Leventhal along with an internship placement with HEAL/REBEL. Now, she is eager to gain even more hands-on experience as an official data collector under REBEL Research. Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing grad school to ultimately become a counselor. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, cooking, and exploring new places.
