Biography

Mark Tello-Rincon is an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California pursuing a B.S. in Global Health with minors in Health Care Studies and Dance, set to graduate in 2026. Mark is a volunteer at PIH Health in Downtown Los Angeles and Whittier, CA, where he has worked in administrative and clinical departments in a supportive role for nurses, physicians, and patients. At USC, he is involved in the Latino Students in Medicine organization and select pre-medical student interest groups. To further his passion for the biomedical and public health sciences, Mark intends to pursue a career in pediatrics, global health, and academia. As a Los Angeles native, Mark loves to visit the sunny beaches of Southern California and explore local sights and sounds. When he’s not in school, he occasionally travels to Mexico to vacation in his parents’ hometowns to relax and re-center.
